SELECTION COMMITTEE

The CSLI 2025 Class Selection Committee is recruiting new members to join our committee. This committee reviews applicants, makes a recommendation for the new class to the board, and then notifies applicants of whether they will be joining the 2025 class. We also offer to debrief with applicants who don’t make the class to offer input and suggestions in the hopes they will apply again.

This committee is a crucial one to CSLI and the workload is heavy. Professionalism and confidentiality is required at all times. We evaluate candidates with the same rigor regardless of whether we know them, recommended them, or don’t know them. We also disclose if we have a working or close familial relationship with them and opt out of those candidate discussions.

Alumni who graduated CSLI two or more years ago are eligible to participate on the Selection Committee. (That means the Class of 2022 is now eligible to serve.) Selection Committee Chair(s) along with the Nominating/Governance Committee review the list of people who expressed interest and fill vacancies with an eye toward ensuring a diverse group of selectors.

If you are interested in serving on the committee, expect to invest 20-40 hours in meetings and time reviewing candidate applications. The heaviest time period will be during the months of September and October and our selection meeting will be in late October. You will have the opportunity for thorough training before the selection process begins.

If you are interested, please complete the Selection Committee Interest Form below and I’ll give you a call to discuss the committee and answer any questions you may have.

Thank you in advance for your consideration!
